Nathan Ulmer is an Associate Attorney with Hutchens Law Firm, where he practices in the areas of Litigation, Business Law, Employment Law, Evictions, and Foreclosure. Nathan earned his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill before returning to his hometown of Raleigh, North Carolina, to attend the Campbell University Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor.

Following law school and prior to entering private practice, Nathan served as a United States Marine Corps Officer in Quantico, Virginia. His military service reinforced the values of discipline, leadership, and commitment that continue to guide his legal practice today.

Nathan remains actively involved in his community, particularly in efforts supporting transitioning veterans seeking medical treatment and benefits. He previously served as the Supervising Attorney for Campbell Law School’s Veterans Project, where he assisted numerous veterans in obtaining discharge upgrades, helping them secure access to the healthcare benefits and services they had earned through their military service.
