Christopher T. Salyer is a partner at Hutchens Law Firm concentrating his practice in real estate transactions. Chris frequently speaks to real estate agencies and community organizations regarding real estate matters. He has served on the board and is a past chairman of the Real Estate Lawyers Association of North Carolina and has also served on the Longleaf Pine REALTORS, Inc. (formerly Fayetteville Regional Association of REALTORS) legislative committee. Chris has also served on the North Carolina Secretary of State’s e-closing taskforce, being a speaker on a panel at the first e-closing/e-notary stakeholder annual meeting regarding real estate transactions.

Growing up in Fayetteville, Chris decided to move back to Fayetteville to start his legal career in 1993, cutting his teeth in litigation and collection matters. After practicing with a small firm handling real estate transactions and foreclosures, Chris joined Hutchens Law Firm in 2006, becoming the managing attorney of the foreclosure department until 2012, when he changed his focus back to real estate transactions.Since 2012, Chris has managed several of the Hutchens Law Firm’s real estate offices and continues handling real estate transactions.

Chris stays active in the organizations he is associated with and keeps up on current legislative matters affecting real property and related matters.He has been married to Lisa going on 30 years and enjoys cycling, music, reading, and spending time with their children and grandchildren.
