Vonnegut to Serve on Fayetteville Symphony Board of Directors

Joseph J. Vonnegut, a partner at The Hutchens Law Firm, has been selected to serve on the
Fayetteville Symphony Orchestra Board of Directors.

Board of Directors of the Fayetteville Symphony Orchestra is delighted that Mr.
Joseph Vonnegut has agreed to join us as a director,” says Will Gillis, Board
Chair of the Fayetteville Symphony Orchestra.

“Mr. Vonnegut’s dedication to our community demonstrates, on many levels,
the significance he places on civic involvement and how it strengthens us all. The
FSO Board is a hard-working group, dedicated to the success of our mission, and
Joe has already demonstrated that he will be an active and enthusiastic addition
to our Board. Mr. Vonnegut recognizes the high value that our fine orchestra
brings to our community and region. We welcome him.”

Vonnegut received his undergraduate degree from The Citadel and his J.D.
from Mercer University. He was admitted to the North Carolina Bar in 2004
and the Georgia Bar in 1989. He served on active duty with the U.S. Army Jag
Corps from 1989 - 1998 and continues to serve in the U.S. Army Reserve.
